Covid Test Platform

Overview

A web application which allows customers to buy Covid tests, conduct self-test being guided and monitored by a trained Supervisor and receive test results without a need to attend a specific facility.

Challenges

Business challenge: during the pandemic, there was a lack of convenience for customers buying, taking and conducting tests as well as extra added cost due to the effort it is required to buy, take, conduct and receive test results.

The client needed to solve the following challenges:

1. Lack of tools to set up Covid test products to be accessible by customers online as well as their delivery to customers
2. Logistics integration with partners (warehouse, delivery, collection partner (delivery to labs), and 3rd party covid providers)
3. Need to moderate misbehaving customers and remote supervisors as well keeping semote supervisor in actual state
4. Need of instruments to manage supervisor’s work schedule
5. Be aware that supervisors closed all their tests
6. Learn customer behavior analytics

Solution

We implemented a powerful web application empowered by numerous integrations to facilitate seamless business process. The following solutions were developed:

For Customers:

1. A website where customers can buy Covid tests to be delivered to their address
2. Explanatory videos, images, formatted text and perhaps documents to explain how to use Covid tests and what customer’s responsibilities are
3. A simple dashboard to show Covid test and validation results to customers
4. A tool to have a scheduled video conference with Supervisor to attempt passing Covid test process

For Supervisors:

1. A tool to host video conference calls with customer to supervise their Covid test process
2. A scheduling tool to specify my availability hours

For Business Owners:

1. Shopify third-party service to tailor landing and product pages for customers as well as to manage product stock availability, delivery and price
2. A managing tool to moderate customers and supervisors
3. A scheduling tool to set up work hours for supervisors
4. A third-party analytics dashboard such as Google Analytics or similar to track basic events on user customer behavior
